WOW - a week has flown by and we are getting settled

Our 'Risky Business' kid - he hasn't seen the movie btw. Don't know where this came from but it was fun!

It was a fun week of seeing visitors and spending time with Parker for the last week before school starts tomorrow. Parker had play dates Mon, Tues & Wed and went to the zoo on Tues. Nanannette & Grandpa Marvin came on Thursday and they took Parker out for lunch and a treat on Friday. He enjoyed his week I think!

I don't think I've posted any weight for Carter since the beginning. You can see how he's filled out a little and has a few creases. We saw the pediatrician for the first time on 8/5 and Carter weighed 6. a fraction pounds. He goes back on Tues the 18th but we weighed him on the kitchen scale on the 13th, the night before his one month birthday. He weighed 7.4 pounds! We are praising God for his health and growth! We stayed home most of the weekend and I think it's helped to settle him into more of a routine. He has gone three hours between every feeding for the last 24 hours so that's huge progress! :)

Our Georgia Dawgs - thanks Uncle Greg & Aunt Jennie!

Great times!

Yesterday our great friend Shannon had a neighborhood visitation for people to come meet Carter - it was so sweet! Everyone has just been reaching out in amazing ways! We came home and Grandma came to visit! Parker and Carter got some snuggle time but Carter just couldn't keep his little eyes open.

A visit with Family on August 1 before coming home

Five of the eight great grandchildren on my Mom's side. The babies - Mary Catherine, 8 weeks, Pearce, 5 weeks, Carter, 2 weeks. Parker (7) and Ella (3) have become big buds!!

Time for just the four of us for three days!

We had a few days to relax and just be together in Hilton Head before coming home. When we planned our vacation, we had no idea that Carter would be joining us! It's just part of God's big plan for our family! It was a terrific time for us!

Pure Joy!!

Parker's joy at seeing his baby for the first time! Mom's joy of having our family all together! Carter and I received our papers to leave Nevada and made it to the airport just 10 minutes too late. We missed the 1:20 flight and finally got confirmed on the 11:15 pm flight and landed in Savannah at 8:30 am to a reunited family!!
